Policy Review
The South Shore CIT-TTAC supports departments within Norfolk, Plymouth, Barnstable and Bristol counties with taking the time to review policy and make revisions that are appropriate from a CIT lens. Policies serve as essential tools for guiding, directing, and clarifying best practices. It's crucial for departments to regularly review their existing policies, especially those relevant to Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) work, such as Holding Cell, Q5, Report Writing, or NIBRS protocols. This ensures that policies are interconnected and aligned with the overarching principles of CIT and your organization's mission statement.
